International Congress on the Breeding of Sheep and Goats
15 th -16 th October 2020, WCCB, Bonn
The enormous positive feedback on the international event and the fact that the conference proceedings of the DGfZ publication series on the workshop Zucht und Haltung von Schafen und Ziegen in Deutschland
in October 2019 were sold out in a very short time shows that there is a great interest in Sheep and Goats
. The many excellent contributions of the international congress offer an invaluable potential, which we should use. Therefore, BMEL, VDL/BDZ and DGfZ have decided to make papers of particular interest for the German-speaking area available to a wide circle of interested parties.
Together with the Ulmer-Verlag we have planned the following publication options:
Overview of the publication options in German
- Publication in the scientific journal Züchtungskunde (6 issues per year by Verlag Eugen Ulmer; publisher DGfZ; peer-reviewed and quotable.)
- Publication in the DGfZ-Schriftenreihe (a series of publications by the DGfZ, which in contrast to scientific Züchtungskunde focuses on practice; citable).
